A customer has requested our assistance in constructing new gates for 3 courtyard openings. The project will consist of 1 opening that is 6 feet wide by 8 feet tall and 2 openings that are 4 feet wide by 7 feet tall. Each opening will consist of a paired set of doors. As you can tell from the pictures…it is definitely time for new gates.
The new gates will be constructed from pressure treated pine frames with Extira panels. We will engrave the panels with a design that will enhance the overall theme of the courtyard. We decided to use a large Fleur de lis in the top panels & accent the bottom panels with an engraving that simulates a New Orleans style wrought iron fence.
The dimensioned Cad files follow accompanied by pics of our CNC machine as it engraves the Extira panels. Tomorrow we will continue with this project and post the gate assemblies…see you then!!!
